The Easy Connection Package for NetWare is a complete set of customer premises equipment (CPE) and software for small and medium-sized Novell NetWare business customers who need simple, secure, high-performance Internet access for Novell networks.
The solution package contains a Cisco 1003, 1004, or 1005 router, Cisco's IPeXchange gateway software, Cisco's IPeXchange client software for Windows and Windows 95, and the Netscape Navigator application for PCs with a choice of a 20- or 50-concurrent-user license.
This package provides both Internetwork Packet Exchange (IPX)-to-IP gateway functionality and remote network connectivity in standalone products, eliminating the need for separate gateway and bridge/router solutions. The IPeXchange Internet gateway also supports Cisco's new ClickStartTM technology, allowing the router to be configured in minutes using a Web browser such as Netscape Navigator.
The IPeXchange Internet gateway feature set is available for each model in the Cisco 1000 series.
